Carlos Hernandez is the author of The Assimilated Cuban’s Guide to Quantum Santeria (Rosarium 2016) and over 40 works of fiction, poetry, and drama. He is an Associate Professor of English at the Borough of Manhattan Community College, with an additional appointment in the CUNY Graduate Center, where his scholarly work focuses on digital pedagogy and game-based learning. Virginia Konchan is the author of a collection of poetry, The End of Spectacle (Carnegie Mellon,
2018), a collection of short stories, Anatomical Gift (Noctuary Press, 2017), and two chapbooks, including That Tree is Mine (dancing girl press, 2017). Her work has appeared in The New Yorker, The New Republic, and Best New Poets, and her honors include an NEH fellowship and an Illinois Arts Council Award. Co-founder of Matter, a journal of poetry and political commentary, and Associate Editor for Tupelo Quarterly, she teaches at Marist College.
Ines Rodrigues is a Brazilian journalist and teacher, who wrote for newspapers and magazines 
such as Elle and Marie Claire. She also worked as a reporter, lived in London, studied in Italy, and hosted radio programs before moving to New York, 18 years ago. She just published her first book, Days of Bossa Nova (Black Opal Books), a historical novel set in her hometown of São Paulo. She currently teaches Fiction Writing Workshops at The Writing Institute – Sarah Lawrence College, and Italian and Creative Writing at Bronxville Adult School.
